Straughn enters the South finals of AL.com’s poll searching for the best high school football stadium in Alabama, after knocking of top-seeded Enterprise last week.

This week, Straughn faces Opelika this week in the South finals, and currently are out front with three days remaining in the voting.

Nearly half the votes in the entire poll last week were cast in the Straughn and Enterprise matchup.

Straughn defeated Enterprise by 11-percent of the votes. Total votes for the semi-final round were 67,848, with Straughn and Enterprise bringing in 29,989 of those votes.

Straughn will have until Friday to stay in front of Opelika to become the South’s top high school stadium.
