Residents will experience a break in the heat this weekend and for most of next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to top out at 93 degrees today, and will drop to a high of 88 degrees by Monday.

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to reach 89 degrees, but the highs on Wednesday and Thursday are going to reach 91 degrees.

 

There is a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon, Monday and Tuesday.
