Organizers of the weekend Iron Works Men’s Ministries said they hope to repeat the event next year, given the number of participants it drew.

Chris Jackson said there were 700 people in attendance at Friday night’s events, and between 400 and 500 on Saturday.

The conference, which was held at the Covington Center Arena, is an extension of the Old School Men’s meeting ministry. The Old School Men’s meeting is held the third Thursday of the month and is geared toward bring lost men to know Christ.

National men’s ministry speaker and author Steve Farrar was the guest speaker.
