Meredith’s Miracles didn’t fare as well as u sual in their annual Fish Fry, but director Emily Yehling said the circumstances were beyond their control.

“We were a little short,” she said. “There was the rain, Meet the Bulldogs and then a transformer blew. We did well, but not as well as usual.”

They sold 400 dinners. They normally top 500.

Yehling said the bake sale went well.

“I love the fish fry for the interaction,” Yehling said. “The fry fish is just a nice time for us to be able to spend time chatting with our supporters. The other fundraisers throughout the year are so hectic, we don’t really get that opportunity.”
