Olivia Hodges Douglas

Mrs. Olivia Hodges Douglas, 91, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Aug. 24, 2015, in Pensacola.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Fri., Aug. 28, at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Brother Fred Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Special music will be provided by Chuck Lassiter. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 27, at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Crawford of Andalusia, and Linda and Mark Wheeler of Kitzmiller, MD; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Gretchen Douglas of Whitney Point, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Todd (Carolyn) Karroll and Lee Douglas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Douglas, who passed away in 1986.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Lassiter, John Lassiter, Billy Douglas, Bill Douglas, Todd Karroll, and Billy Johnson.

Ralph Vinson Sowell

Mr. Ralph Vinson Sowell, 85, of Red Level, passed away Sat., Aug. 22, 2015, at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Fri., Aug. 28, at Antioch Cemetery in Conecuh County. Visitation will be from 12 – 1:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Larry Selman of Red Level; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Bonnie Sowell and Wendell and Cindy Sowell all of Red Level; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Sanford of McKenzie.
