Outlaw Realty recently welcomed Mike Peterson as its newest real estate agent.

Peterson recently retired from the Coast Guard after 34 years of service. After relocating all over the country, he and his wife, Theresa, decided to look for a place that they could call home. After a lot of research, they moved to Andalusia in 2014.

After earning his real estate license, Peterson said he quickly learned that his new profession allowed a new way of helping people. He said he knows first-hand how stressful finding a new home can be, especially if the buyer is new to an area.

Before joining Outlaw Realty, he was an agent with Berkshire Hathaway in Mobile and specialized in short sales (selling right before foreclosure).
