AHS celebrating homecoming

While driving down East Three Notch Street this week, one may notice Andalusia As on local businesses. It’s homecoming week at Andalusia High School. Teachers and students are working diligently to welcome alumni back to one of the most distinguished homecomings in the area. Lots of hard work is put in to place to continue the traditions at Andalusia High School.

On Tuesday, students celebrated “Disney Day. Today, Wed., Sept. 9, is senior citizen day/

Thursday is pajama day, and Friday is dress for success day.

This is the schedule for this week’s events.

Wed., Sept. 9, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Float site

Thurs., Sept. 10, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Float site

Fri., Sept. 11

8:00 – 8:45a.m. – Alumni Breakfast, Bulldog Bistro (cafeteria)

9 a.m. – Homecoming Assembly, AHS auditorium

12:30 p.m. – parade line-up, stadium parking lot

(Alumni should be on the float by 1:10 p.m.)

2 p.m. – Homecoming parade, downtown

6:30 p.m. – Pre-game ceremony, AHS Stadium

7 p.m. – AHS vs. Ashford.

 

The Andalusia Bulldogs will take on the Ashford Yellowjackets.
