Beverly J. Godwin

Mrs. Beverly J. Godwin, age 84, of Cottonwood, Ala., previously of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Sept. 10, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sat., Sept. 12, 2015, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Billy Boles will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Stone Lake Gardens cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel.

Survivors include her son, Robert Wheeler, Jr. of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters, Jeannie Wheeler of Ashford, Ala., Brenda Jones of Cleveland, Tenn., Wanda Fuller of Andalusia, and Lisa Varner of Cottonwood; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

 

Charles “Billy” Stokes

Charles “Billy” Stokes, 83, of Andalusia, passed away Tues., Sept. 8, 2015, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Fri., Sept. 11, 2015, at the Cedar Grove Church of Christ with Minister David Paher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Michelle Stokes of Andalusia; his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Benny Bass of McEwen, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Blake Bass, Mandi Bass, Andrea Stokes, Ryan Stokes, Lindsey Edgar, Harley Edgar; and two sisters, Mildred Stokes of Prattville, Ala., and Arlene Reynolds of Deland, Fla.,

The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to the Cedar Grove Church of Christ Mission fund.
