Habitat makes progress, volunteers needed today

Habitat volunteers working  at the build on Friday included employees of Rayonier, Covington County Bank, Southest Alabama Gas, Dr. Roger Boyington’s office, Wyatt Sasser Construction Co., Carolina Mill Works and several individuals.

Construction on the sixth Habitat for Humanity House in Covington County continues this weekend. On Friday, volunteers had a roof on by 10 a.m., and began the siding.

Work will resume at 7 a.m. today, Sat., Sept. 12.

Those interested in helping can meet at Northside Baptist Church and buses and golf carts will transport them to the build site at 209 Opp Ave., in Andalusia.
