Co-owners Kelly (Henderson) and Jonathan Stinson and David and Laura Darby on Thursday celebrated the grand opening of Saraland Pharmacy with a ribbon cutting.

The pharmacy is located at 106A Saraland Loop Road in the Rouse’s Market shopping center. In addition to full pharmacy services, Saraland Pharmacy will offer biometric

screenings including cholesterol, blood glucose and body mass index (BMI) in the future. The store also offers a large gift selection including an extensive Melissa and Doug children’s toy line, children’s clothing including Mudpie and Kissy Kissy, as well as home décor gifts.

Mrs. Stinson also serves as the store’s pharmacist and manager. Saraland Pharmacy has five local employees.

Mayor Howard J. Rubenstein and Cameron Stinson, the Stinstons’ son, are shown doing the honors.

The Darbys also own Darby’s Village Pharmacy and Darby’s Medical Center Pharmacy in Andalusia.
