Pair jailed for coke, Xanax

A pair possessing drugs following too close in a construction zone in River Falls got themselves a ticket to the Blue Roof Inn Monday afternoon.
River Falls Police Chief Greg Jackson said he stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 84, and called for assistance from Officer Kyle Adam because he smelled the odor of marijuana.
Jackson had Adams bring his drug detection K9 Saba around the vehicle.
“K9 Saba alerted to the odor of narcotics,” he said. “We then began a probable cause search of the car.”
Jackson said they found marijuana, Xanax and powder cocaine.
Arrested during the stop were Devante Gee and Darius Robinson, 23, of Crestview, Fla.
They were charged with possession of a controlled substance cocaine, possession of marijuana II and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on a $20,500 bond.
