The Frank Jackson Trail Mastesr recently completed a new pavilion in the chlldren’s playground area.

An ADA accessible ramp leading from the parking lot to the pavilion is currently under construction and will be completed by the opening of the Scarecrows in the Park event.

All work on this project was done by Trail Master members with assistance from local contractors and the City of Opp.

“This pavilion and picnic benches will provide a shady resting area for parents as their children play on the playground equipment and while swimming in the lake, or just for picnicking and hanging out,” Juanita Blocker of the Trail Masters said.

The project was funded by the Estep Foundation.
