A group of 20 Andalusia area residents hopes to be invited to “Come on Down” as a contestant on “The Price is Right.”

City of Andalusia Adult Activities Center Program Coordinator Sonja Godwin said she bought tickets for tonight’s The Price is Right Live™ the day they went on sale. The event is set for the Saenger Theatre in Mobile.

“I could have filled up a bus, but this was as many tickets as I could get,” she said.

While the show will be filmed and is expected to air in the future, the broadcast won’t be live, she said.

Godwin said some of the local travelers have had custom-designed T-shirts made in hopes they’ll be featured on the show.
