Two men are being held in the county jail on manufacturing charges after being stopped near the county line on Hwy. 55 north.

DTF agent Greg Jackson said Sgt. Kevin Wise of the sheriff’s office made contact with Marvin Moose and John Cooper both of Andalusia.

Wise received consent to search the vehicle and located pseudoephedrine lithium batteries, ammonium nitrate, acid and drain opener all items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

Also located were meth and syringes in the vehicle.

Both Moose and Cooper have been charged with first degree manufacturing –methamphetamine, which carries a $10,000 bond and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, which carries a $50,000 bond.
