Emmett Cleveland Gunter

Mr. Emmett Cleveland Gunter, age72 of Opp died on Fri., Sept. 25, at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Gunter will be held on Wed., Sept. 30, 2015, at 2 p.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ed Ganus will officiate. Interment will be in the Harmony Cemetery.

Mr. Gunter is survived by his wife, Lois Gunter of Opp; two daughters, Angela Lynn Bennett and Deborah Carol Elmore, both of Andalusia; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jon (Don) Hartman of Loxley, Ala., and Judy (Junior) Hensley) of Opp; a brother, Odis Ray (Reda) Gunter of Andalusia, several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jory Perkins, Isiah Perkins, Tony Meeks, John Wheeler, Troyce Gunter and Russell Gunter.

The body will lie in state from 6 p.m. Tuesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
