OPD busts 1 for coke, pot

Opp Police busted a local man with cocaine and pot Friday.
According to Opp Police Chief Mike McDonald, at approximately 11:30 p.m., on Friday, units responded to the One Stop Package Store on the Florala Highway in reference to a theft of property complaint.
“Officers observed a black in color Ford Mustang sitting in the parking lot of the business and made contact with Nicholas Duran Henderson, a 28-year-of-age male resident of Opp,” McDonald said.
The investigation resulted in Henderson being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McDonald said the case was referred to the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force.
