Lavon Henley

Mr. Lavon Henley, 83, of Daphne, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Sat., Oct. 10, 2015, at his residence.

A private graveside service will be held Tuesday for family only.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Curtis Henley of Daphne; his sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Susan Henley of Shalimar, Fla., Van and Suzanne Henley of Colleyville, Texas; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother and sister-in-law, Osbern and Evelyn Henley of Troy; and two sisters, June Moore and Ovie Martin, both of Andalusia.

Lorena Ballard Sethman

Mrs. Lorena Ballard Sethman, age 94, of Andalusia passed away Sun., Oct. 11, 2015, in the Andalusia hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wed., Oct. 14, 2015, at the First Presbyterian Church of Andalusia. Pastor Robert E. Madsen and the Rev. Eugene Meadows will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stone Lake Gardens with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Tues., Oct. 13, at Keahey Funeral Home, and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Survivors include her son, George (Mary E.) Upchurch of Knoxville, Tenn.; daughter, Norma J. (Bruce) Robertson of Pace, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Phillip Upchurch, Daniel Upchurch, Timothy Upchurch, John Upchurch, Bruce Robertson, Michael Robertson and Brandy Robertson; and 10 great-grandchildren.
