The Kiwanis Covington County Fair kicked off Monday with school day, a great event for students enjoying the Columbus Day holiday.

Today, there is free admission for people with special needs, school age, from 10 a.m. until noon. Merchant’s night is today, with unlimited rides for $18 with a receipt with a purchase from a county merchant today. Kids and youth talent shows are tonight at 6, and the tug-of-war contest is at 7:30.
