Last Friday, Mrs. Jana Clark’s Family Studies and Community Services I class participated in a mock interview exercise that will help prepare them for future job interviews.

The students not only had to look the part, but they also had to shake hands firmly, make eye contact, respond appropriately to interview questions, and ask the interviewers two questions as well. Some students’ first preparatory class does not take place until college, but these students will be ahead of the game.

Mrs. Clark would like to thank the following community leaders for making this experience possible: Corey Bryan, lawyer and candidate for circuit judge; Trece Mays, executive administrator for the Andalusia Manor; Miss Emily Cain, human resources for the Andalusia Manor; Casey Jones, owner of Two Guys Pies; Mr. and Mrs. Day, partners of Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle; Chrissie Duffy, executive administrator of the Andalusia Chamber of Commerce; and Ted Watson, Superintendent of Andalusia City Schools.
