The Lower Alabama Arts Coalition (LAAC) has issued a call to artists for a juried art exhibition and sale at The Gallery in Andalusia, Dec. 1 through Dec. 31, 2015.

Awards include a $500 Best in Show award, and $100 awards for the winners in acrylic, pastel, oil, watercolor, mixed media, sculpture, photograph and drawing categories. Awards will be presented at a reception for artists and guests on Thurs., Dec. 10.

The entry fee is $40, and each artist is allowed three entries. The three entries may all be in one category or cross category lines.

The LAAC will begin accepting entries on Nov. 1, and continue through Nov. 24. After Nov. 24, entries will be $50.

Artwork may be delivered to the The Gallery at 116 East Three Notch St., Nov. 24 through 27 between noon and 5:30 pm.

Paintings should not exceed 36” square, and 3D entries should not exceed 48” in height or width.

All works must arrive ready for display with appropriate frames and wires or bases and display cases. All works on canvas or framed must have wire.
