Robert J. “Bob” Rawls

Robert J. “Bob” Rawls, age 80, went home to be with our Lord in peace and with grace on October 22, 2015 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Born on March 5, 1935 in Gantt, Alabama, he was the son of late Trammel “Trix” Rawls and Elizabeth McBride Scoffield.  He is survived by his son, Robert Jefferson “Jeff”

Rawls II of Chattanooga, TN along with grandchild, Eli; his daughter, René Rawls-Brawner and son-in-law, Chris Brawner along with grandchildren, Zackary and Rachel Brawner; his daughter Victoria “Tori” Rawls Shirey along with grandchildren, Austin and Karlee Shirey; brother, William “Billy” Rawls (Sue); and two nieces, Connie Rawls Kelly and Lisa Rawls Walker.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Hatcher Rawls.

The family will receive friends from 1:30pm – 3:30pm, October 24, 2015 at Keahey Funeral Home in Andalusia, AL.  Funeral Services will immediately follow at the funeral home chapel with the Brother Billy Boles officiating.  Burial will follow in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Arline Meadows Curenton

Mrs. Arline Meadows Curenton, 95, of Andalusia, passed away Thurs., Oct. 22, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Mon., Oct. 26, 2015, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gary Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Gordon Helms of Andalusia; son and daughter-in-law, David and Rita Curenton of Fairhope; grandchildren, Ken (Wanda) Helms of Opp, Lisa Waldhour of Andalusia, Christie (John) Stuckey of Simms, Scott (Jen) Curenton of Fairhope, Lori (Bo) Fuqua of Andalusia, and Stuart (Christy) Curenton of Fairhope; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Althea Maddox of Stockbridge, Ga.; sister-in-law, Kathleen Meadows of Huntsville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband, Earl Curenton; sisters, Annie Ruth Eilers, Agnus Stedman, and Lynette Carroll; and brothers, A.B. “Jr.” Meadows and Burl Meadows.

Pallbearers will include Ken Helms, Bo Fuqua, Scott Curenton, Stuart Curenton, Alex Waldhour, and Matthew Waldhour.
