Mr. Larry Wells

Mr. Larry Wells, 55, of Andalusia, passed away Fri., Oct. 23, 2015, in the Andalusia Manor.

Mr. Wells was born in Covington County on Nov. 28, 1959, to Foy Ollie Wells and Mildred Philyaw Wells.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Mon., Oct. 26, at Harmony Baptist Church with Brother Greg Cotter officiating. A eulogy was given by Mr. John Vick. Interment followed in Harmony Cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing the service.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jedidiah and Tara Wells of Dothan; two grandchildren, Riley Alaina Wells and Easton Ford Wells; one brother, Jimmy Wells of Dothan; and his sister, Shirley Wells of Andalusia.

Honorary Pallbearers were be John and Faye Vick, Jimmy Vick, James Grantham, and Sonja James.

Lewis Bass

Mr. Lewis Bass age 58 of Red Level passed away Sun., Oct. 25, 2015, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center after a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thurs., Oct. 29, 2015, in the Keahey Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Russell Broussard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Survivors include his wife, Felicia Bass of Red Level; son and fiancé, Jason Chad Bass and DeAnna Donaldson of Andalusia; brothers, Mark Bass of Andalusia, Riley Bennett Bass of Pensacola, Clyde Kermit (Cheryl) Bass Jr. of Abiline, Texas, Ron M. Bass Wedowee, Ala., and Donnie Huckabee of Brewton; his sisters, Vonda ( Steve) Barton of Geneva, Janie Huckabee of Brewton, Reda Huckabee of Brewton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the America Cancer Society for Research, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

Lewis graduated from Andalusia High School and worked many years for Taylor Linen.
