A Walk on the Wild Side will be held next Sat., Nov. 7, at Frank Jackson State Park.

“Learn about the animals that live in the park, what they eat and where they live,” said Juanita Blocker of the Frank Jackson Trail Masters. “Find out which plants are beneficial and the ones you should leave alone.”

Blocker said there will be nature crafts and fun projects for those who attend.

“Kids and bigger kids are invited,” she said. “Make sure you wear comfortable shoes for hiking the trails.”

Local outdoors and wildlife enthusiast Michelle D. Bende will be the presenter.

The event will begin at 10 a.m.
