Andalusia Isshinryu makes another strong showing

Andalusia Isshinryu Karate members were on top of their game once again and finished with six first place trophies in IKC Southern Open Nationals held in Phenix City.

Five members from Andalusia Isshinryu competed in kata, weapons and fighting in their respective divisions.

Konnor Owens had strong day as he picked up first place finishes in both green belt fighting and kata.

Landon Caldwell fought his way to a first place finish in brown belt fighting and second place finishes in brown belt kata and weapons.

Kila Owens used a big effort on her way to a first place finish in brown belt fighting, a second place finish in brown belt kata and a fourth place finish in brown belt weapons.

Dalton Spears’s solid technique helped land him a first place finish in brown belt kata. Spears also finished second in brown belt weapons and third brown belt fighting.

Taj Patel scrapped his way to a first place finish in black belt fighting and second place finishes in black belt kata and weapons.
