The Andalusia Police Department is searching for a tow truck that was stolen from a local business, as well as the person responsible.

According to the APD, a red, four-door International roll-back was stolen sometime Sunday night from Jeff Palmer’s Body Shop on US 84 West in Andalusia.

APD officials said that the driver used the tow truck to crash through the gate.

A Buick Enclave was on the back of the truck at the time of the theft.

It was later found on a county road near River Falls.

Authorities said the truck was recently painted and has no markings on it identifying Jeff Palmer’s Body Shop.

The roll-back bed is black.

APD is asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle.
