The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce’s website recently got a facelift, and the new look launched yesterday.

Chamber Executive Director Chrissie Duffy said the project has been nearly a year in the making and Copeland Computer Solutions did the work.

“It is more visually appealing,” she said. “And it is more user-friendly.”

Highlights of the website include a searchable directory of chamber members, which shows a map of the location of the business and contact information.

“Mobile users will be able to click on the phone number and dial the business,” she said.

For tourism purposes, the site tells out-of-towners all about what’s going on in Andalusia.

A community calendar is available and Duffy said those who have community-oriented events may contact the chamber to have them placed on the calendar.

“It’s a great resource for our community and a great way for people to make sure that their events aren’t conflicting with others throughout the community,” she said.
