More than a week after someone stole a tow truck from Jeff Palmer’s Body Shop in Andalusia, the owner is offering a $7,500 reward for the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.

Palmer made the announcement Monday after no new leads had come through to find a red, four-door, International roll-back.

The Andalusia Police Department is investigating the case.

According to the APD, the driver used the tow truck to crash through the gate at Palmer’s Body Shop and a Buick Enclave was on the back of the truck at the time of the theft.

The Buick was later found on a county road near River Falls.

Authorities said the truck was recently painted and has no markings on it identifying Jeff Palmer’s Body Shop.

The roll-back bed is black.
