Businesses, city workers and the Chamber of Commerce are busy setting up the Court Square and the lawn at Springdale for the kickoff of the second annual Christmas in Candyland.

Here’s the rundown for this week’s activities.

THURS., DEC. 3

• 6:30 p.m. – Christmas tree lighting on the Court Square.  Traffic will be closed on the Square at 5:15 p.m.

• 7 p.m. – Andalusia Chamber of Commerce Christmas parade.

FRI., DEC. 4

• 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Candyland Village Play will open

• 6 p.m. – The Snow Show Spectacular on the Court Square

• 7 p.m. – A Merry Movie on the lawn of Springdale. (Free)

• 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. – Holiday train rides and ice skating at Springdale.

 

SATURDAY, DEC. 5

• 11 a.m. –  5 p.m. – Photos with Santa at Springdale.

• 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Holiday train rides and ice skating at Springdale.

• 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Candyland Play Village  be open.

• 5 p.m. – The Snow Show Spectacular on the Court Square

SUN., Dec. 6

• 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. – Holiday train rides and ice skating at Springdale.

• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Candyland Play Village  be open, and Santa will be on the Court Square.

• 3 p.m. – The Snow Show Spectacular on the Court Square
