Opp Police last week arrested a 17-year-old male after he was seen in the parking lot of Opp High School acting in a suspicious manner.
“As the officer began to approach their vehicle, the vehicle operator drove away and was stopped by a second B shift officer,” Chief Mike McDonald said.
The juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana II, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
