Mrs. Ruth Tucker Sanders, 81, of Andalusia, passed away Wed., Dec. 9, 2015, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. today, Fri., Dec. 11, at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Brother Billy Boles officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation was Thursday Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Sanders of Andalusia; her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Mark Mai of California; two grandchildren, Justin Tisdale and Matlin Mai; two brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Wanda Tucker of Birmingham, Tony Tucker of Andalusia; her sisters and brother-in-law, Madge Sowell of Andalusia, Myrtle Ogles of Valparaiso, Fla., Syble Dubose of Cantonment, Fla., Peggy Jackson, Genna Sansom, Doris Covin, of Andalusia; and Shirley and Don Taylor of Abbeville.

Krakower,

Mrs. Doris Sweatt Krakower, 86, of Galveston, Texas, passed away Mon., Dec. 7, 2015, in the Andalusia Manor.

She was born in Alabama on Dec. 3, 1929, to Kirby Sweatt and Willie Arnold Sweatt. She moved with her parents, son Timothy, and her sister to Galveston in 1948. She had a very outgoing personality and loved people and making friends. She spent many wonderful years working as a sales clerk at J. Lewis Lopez Jewelers.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Mon., Dec. 14, at Emau El Cemetery in Houston, Texas. A visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday at Malloy and Sons Funeral Home in Galveston.

She is survived by her husband, Bernard Krakower of Galveston, and a niece, Sue Sweatt Wells and her husband, Ralph, of Andalusia.
