Drug Task Force agents took a known drug dealer off the streets Thursday.

DTF Agent Greg Jackson said the task force arrested Terry McClain around 10:30 a.m., on Eighth Avenue.

Jackson said agents had worked two months on the investigation.

“Agents with the task force received numerous complaints from residents in the area of large amounts of drug activity in and around his residence,” Jackson said. “An investigation began and agents were able to make several arrests on people leaving his residence for drug possession.”

McClain was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine.

He is being held in the Covington County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
