Two potential industrial prospects which would like access to rail transportation have had economic development officials scrambling to find locations in Covington County.

Rick Clifton, executive director of the Covington County Economic Development Commission, told Andalusia Industrial Development Board members Thursday that he has looked at property in Red Level, River Falls, and Andalusia for the projects.

Either project would be a great prospect for Covington County, he said. One of the prospects would be similar to a distribution facility; the other is manufacturing, he said.
