Woman arrested after 4-car wreck
A four-car wreck on Hwy. 137 landed a Georgia woman behind bars Sunday.
ALEA officials said the wreck occurred around 7:50 a.m., and no injuries occurred.
DTF officials said that Covington County Sheriff’s deputies found a woman to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Troopers arrested her for driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
During the course of the investigation, officers found 18 grams of meth, an amount of heroin and a few Xanax bars.
Authorities arrested Lane Ashley Connors, 30, of Smyrna, Ga., for DUI of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was held in the Covington County Jail on a $401,500 bond.
