Mildred Eloise Hudson

Mrs. Mildred Eloise Hudson, 88, of Andalusia, passed away Sun., Dec. 27, 2015, in the Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tues., Dec. 29, from Foreman Funeral Home with Brother Phillip Morgan and Brother LaDon Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Adellum Cemetery. Visitation was Monday at Foreman Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Jim Rillera and Karen and David Barton; her grandson, Dr. James Barton, and his wife Monica all of Andalusia; and a great grandchild to be, David Josiah Barton, due April 19th.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Elton Hudson; two brothers, and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Wyatt Sasser, Chris Thomasson, Gill Morgan, Tim Messick, Farrell Whatley, and John Dewberry.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Bill Music

Bill Music, age 69, of Hazlehurst, died Sun., Dec. 20, 2015, at his residence.

Mr. Music was born April 18, 1946, in Bacon County to the late William Loyd Music Sr. and the late Lydia Music. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a retired supervisor with Hazlehurst Mills and member of Oakland Baptist Church. His sister, Paulene Music Smith, and brother, Billy Hampton Music, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Jones Music of Hazlehurst; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Music of Andalusia; sons Melvin Lloyd Music of Monroe and Matthew Walsh of Hazlehurst; sisters, Carlene Music Smith and Verlene Music Miller, both of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren, Katelyn Elizabeth Crum, Sadie Karoline Crum, Audrey Madison Talley, Hailey Nicole Music, William Michael Music, Zachary Thomas Music, Mattie Elizabeth Walsh; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wed., Dec. 23, 2015, at Oakland Baptist Church with the Rev. Royce Hulett and the Rev. Billy Gardner officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Mr. Music will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
