Andalusia Ford is collecting non-perishable items today only, Tues., Dec. 29, and will deliver to Elba on Wednesday.

The City of Elba has established a Volunteer Reception Center at the Elba Church of Christ, located at 715 Troy Highway in Elba (across the street from Windham Lumber Co.). Donations of non-perishable food items may be made at this location, as well as monetary donations to the Recovery Operations of Coffee County, a non-profit 501c(3) organization.

Volunteers entering the area are asked to report to the center to receive credentials and assignments.

The City has also established a donation center for donated goods other than non-perishables at the Elba Assembly of God located at 1320 Highland Drive.

Both centers are open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily until further notice.
