National Forest Service officials have temporarily closed many roads throughout Alabama’s national forests because of heavy rains. The roads will be closed until conditions improve and the Forest Service assesses the damage and maintenance needs. Drivers are asked to check the Forest Service website at www.fs.usda.gov/alabama or contact district offices to check the current road status.

The following roads are closed in the Conecuh National Forest: FSR339, FSR332, FSR337, FSR353, FSR353A and FSR338.
