Andalusia Regional Hospital rang in 2016 with the year’s first bundle of joy when Haydn and Jamey Greene welcomed their son, Cooper, at 1 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 1, 2016.

Cooper weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 22 inches long.

ARH’s birthing center has five new labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) suites that allow babies to remain near their mothers. The hospital’s maternity program was recently designated as a Blue Distinction Center (BDC) for Maternity Care.
