The Straughn Lady Tigers opened up area play with a 52-24 victory over the Headland Lady Rams Tuesday night in Straughn.

Straughn started the game strong and built a 16-5 lead at the end of the first period.

The Lady Tigers continued to pour it on the second period and held a 29-8 lead at halftime.

It was much of the same in the third period, as the Lady Tigers built a 43-16 lead heading into the final period.

Brentley Armstrong led the Lady Tigers with 19 points in the win, and Harley Adcock added 10 points.
