Meredith’s Miracles is looking for volunteers to help prepare products for its annual Valentines Store.

Volunteers will prepare candy sundaes, and other items, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. weekdays, and from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays. The store will open Feb. 1.

Asked what kinds of skills are needed, Meredith’s Miracles executive director Emily Yehling laughed.

“Breathing,” she said.

There are a number of steps in creating the sundaes, including washing glasses, cutting and curling ribbon, and gluing candies in place.

“We can find something for people to do,” she said.

The store will be located on the Court Square in the former yogurt shop in the Prestwood building, Yehling said.

Workers are needed beginning Monday morning.
