The Covington County Republican Party will sponsor a candidate forum at Doc’s Country Store in Opp on Mon., Jan. 25.

There will be an opportunity to meet candidates at 5:30 p.m., and the GOP will provide a meal for the first 100 people beginning at 6 p.m.

Trippy McGuire will serve as emcee for the evening and will allot each candidate five minutes to speak.

Some district-wide and state-wide candidates are anticipated to attend as well.
