Tomorrow, Fri., Jan. 22, is the deadline to get tickets for the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet will be held on Jan. 28 in the Kiwanis Community Center. The evening begins with a social hour 5:30 p.m., featuring live entertainment. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by the speaker and entertainment.

Tickets for Chamber members are $30 per person and non-member are $35 per person. Students in grades 6 – 12 can purchase tickets for $20 each. Please reserve your tickets by Jan. 22.

Awards will be presented for Outstanding Community Service, Excellence in Education, Leadership in Business, Business of the Year, and Citizenship. Submit a photo or video of your staff to be presented during the Annual Banquet no later than Jan. 15.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Bea Forniss, Division Chief of the Community and Economic Development Division for ADECA (Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs).

Ligthwire Theater from New Orleans also will perform.

The group has become internationally recognized for its signature brand of electroluminescent artistry, poignant storytelling and music scores designed to evoke imagery.
