The Andalusia Police Department is holding one person for questioning in a Thursday afternoon shooting.

APD officers were called to the Foxwood Village apartment complex for a shooting incident shortly before 2 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a subject had been shot in the leg, but his injuries were not life-threatening. He was transported to Andalusia Hospital for treatment and later released.

The APD did not release any further details in the incident.
