Sibyl B. Chesser

Mrs. Sibyl B. Chesser, age 102, of Andalusia passed away at Andalusia Manor on Jan. 20, 2016.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Fri., Jan. 22, at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chesser is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sarah P. and Benny Adams of Andalusia; son, Norman E. Pitts of Shreve Port, La.; grandchildren, Wendy A. (Robert) Butler, Carolyn A. (Bruce) Douglas, and Neal (Anita) Pitts; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and brothers, Phillip Bowan of South Carolina and Carroll Bowen of Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Pitts and W.D. Chesser; one sister, and two brothers.

Pallbearers will include Whit Carroll, Bruce Douglas, Robert Butler, and Ricky Lumpkin.

Betty Jo Rabren

Mrs. Betty Jo Rabren, 87, of Andalusia, passed away Tues. Jan. 19, 2016, at her daughter’s residence.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Sat., Jan. 23, from Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Billy Boles officiating. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Foreman Funeral Home. Special music will be by Sonja Grimes.

She is survived by her children, Tina Gantt and her husband Philip, Eddy Rabren and his wife, Opal, and Margo Chesser, all of Andalusia, and Claudette Perdue of Chancellor, Ga.; her grandchildren, Allen and Sonja Grimes, Lori Grimes, the late Danielle and Shaun Mitchell, Scotty Rabren, Courtney Chesser, Beau Chesser, Missy and Aaron DeVore; and great- grandchildren, Brittany Grimes, T. J. Grimes, Natilee Mathews, Shelbee Mathews, Caden Stewart, Katelyn Mitchell, Miley Mitchell, Winter DeVore, Jaxson Grant, C. R. Grant.
