50 arts, crafts vendors needed

Some 50 arts and crafts vendors are still needed for the 2016 Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo set for April 1-2.

Organizer Liz Lindsey set food vendors spots are already full.

Vendors usually include children’s boutiques, rodeo T-shirts, acrylic illustrations and prints, vinyl decals, jewelry, purse, scarves, Scentsy dealers, pocket knives and sunglasses, belts, airbrush tattoos and more.

Food vendors range from ice cream and funnel cakes to rattlesnake meat to fried chicken

Vendors line the track around Channell-Lee Stadium.

The deadline for show applications is March 25, 2016, but spaces do fill up quickly.

Space fee is $100. For those who need electric, $50 get you one outlet. You must also pay a $10 city license fee.

There is to be no sharing or subleasing of spaces.

Spaces are 12×12, which includes tie downs, trailer tongues, etc.

Vendors will set up on Thurs., March 31, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Entertainment for the rodeo will include:

• Fri., April 1: Sammy Kershaw, John Anderson and Aaron Tippin;

• Sat., April 2: 3 for 3, Tim Timmons, Elli Halcomb and Chris Tomlin.

Tickets are available for $25 each per day. They will be $30 at the gate. Children 12 and under get in free with a paying adult.
