The 2016 baseball season didn’t start out like the Andalusia Bulldogs would have hoped after the were downed by Charles Henderson 14-0 and 7-0 Monday afternoon at LBWCC.

Riley Graham picked up a pair of singles in the opener for the Bulldogs’ only hits in the game.

In game two, Clay Stevens entered as a relief pitcher and picked up five strikeouts and only let one run score.

“Bright spots today were Clay Stephens and Sim Bowden on the mound,” Bulldogs’ head coach Tyler Dent said. “We have to do a better job at the plate and making routine plays in the field, but that is why we play these types of teams early. We will get there, but we have some work to do.”
