Lesly and Joe Gantt lost their home to fire over the weekend.

The Gantts own Fancy and Friends, a dog grooming and boarding business in Libertyville.

Gantt said that the business will still be open and that the fire didn’t spread to any of her kennel.

Gantt said no one was at home at the time of the fire, and they had only been gone for about 45 minutes.

The family lost their beloved shih tzu, Jasmine.

“The fire department said they might not ever know what happened,” she said. “We were all headed different places.”

The home is a total loss.

“Everybody has been so awesome,” Gantt said. “By the time we went to bed last night everyone in the house had plenty of clothes. We want to thank everyone in the community for their support.”

Gantt said the Andalusia, Red Oak, Carolina and Libertyville fire departments worked to extinguish the fire.
