Opp native joins Mizell Medical clinic as CRNP

Nurse Practitioner Lisa Adamson has joined the Mizell Medical Clinic. Lisa Adamson is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, earning her master of science degree as a family nurse practitioner while working as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Mizell Memorial Hospital. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Auburn University at Montgomery and her associate of applied science degree in nursing from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.

Born in Opp, Adamson is native to this area and as a healthcare provider is looking forward to working in her hometown.

“I am passionate about providing excellent care to the members of our community and its surrounding areas,” she said.

Adamson is a member of the community organization, Opp Khelpanan Society. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Wiregrass Nurse Practitioners Association and American Nurses Association.

In her personal time, Lisa enjoys the beach, outdoors, family and Auburn football.

As part of the Mizell Memorial Clinic team, Adamson is ready to offer prompt and personalized treatment for members of the community of all ages.

MMH Marketing Director Kristen Averitt said with the addition of Adamson, there are now two nurse practitioners at the Mizell Clinic.
