Andalusia Police are asking for the public’s help locating suspects in an early Wednesday morning burglary of Darby’s Pharmacy on South Three Notch Street.

“After the burglary, the suspect (s) fled Andalusia down the Brooklyn Road at a high rate of speed,” APD public information officer Allen Scofield said in a release. “Video surveillance footage from the Boggs and Boulders park show what investigators believe is the suspect’s vehicle passing by the park between 3:30 a.m. and 3:45 a.m.”

Scofield said the vehicle had to slow down suddenly for another vehicle on the road at the time.

“The other vehicle is a full size pickup pulling a small utility trailer,” he said. “Investigators are interested in talking to the driver of that pickup truck about the suspect vehicle. Video is not clear enough to see the make or model of the truck or the suspect car.”
