Brewton teen Brook Lee Bridges, 16, has been missing since Sunday night.

Police Chief Monte McGougin said an organized volunteer effort will be mounted beginning at 9 a.m. in the parking lot adjacent to the Jefferson Davis Community College maintenance building.

Bridges, 16, was last seen more than two weeks ago at her Cottage Hill Drive home. Since then, little headway has been made in the case. A massive search effort was centered around the area of Alco Park. Now, the plan is to widen that search to other wooded areas in and around Brewton, McGougin said.

Volunteers are asked to pre-register for the search by visiting https://www.volunteerspot.com/login/entry/937954550092.

Anyone with any information – “No matter how small you think it is,” McGougin said – is asked to contact the BPD at 251.867.3214.
