Burglars caught on surveillance video; help sought

The Opp Police Department is asking for help in identifying two suspects responsible for a burglary at Larry’s Prescriptions on Main Street early Thursday morning.

Video surveillance shows that at 2:36 a.m., two individuals in a silver, newer-model SUV, possibly a Nissan Rogue, broke in to the pharmacy.

One suspect is described as tall, skinny, wearing grey jogging/running pants with a black or dark grey pullover hoodie shirt, Adidas basketball shoes with red socks, with a dark bib ball cap, in possession of a yellow pry bar.

The second suspect is described as stocky, and was wearing grey jogging/running pants, a blue pullover hoodie shirt, black shoes, and was wearing a dark bib ball cap.

Both individuals were wearing grey colored gloves. The individuals, who appear to be male, left Larry’s Prescription with an unknown amount of prescription medication. The two individuals are also suspected of burglarizing a pharmacy in Elba, just before breaking in to Larry’s.
